Yes, the sensors must remain plugged in to function correctly. We supply splitters to ensure you have enough outlets available.
What is the contract length for the monthly subscription?
The monthly subscription requires a 12-month commitment initially. After the first year, the subscription moves to a rolling monthly basis.
How many sensors are needed per household?
Typically, you’ll need one sensor per room. However, larger spaces may require additional sensors. Each person in the home will need their own set of sensors, but it is possible to monitor a couple in the same location.
Is the fall detection system covered by Medicare?
Currently, our fall detection system is not covered by Medicare. However, we offer various payment options and plans to make it as affordable as possible for you and your loved ones. Please contact us to discuss your specific needs and find the best solution for your situation.
How do the sensors know that you have fallen?
To keep things simple the sensors, detect heat and change in height. If the client falls and remains on the floor for 90 seconds or more an alert is sent to our control room.
Do the devices need Wi-Fi?
Yes, our fall detection system requires 2.4 gh Wi-Fi to function. If you don't have Wi-Fi, we can install a separate router at a small additional cost.
Do the devices pull a lot of power?
No, our devices are low voltage and use minimal power, resulting in a negligible increase in your electricity costs.
